While Brabeion is "Idaho's 1st Public School of Sport", academics are critical to our mission.
Our education model is parent-centric believing that parents should be in the driver's seat of the children's education. In support of parents, our model develops students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. Our staff focus on student growth and everything we do must align with the question, "How will this improve student achievement?"

Brabeion's biweekly formative assessments are short-duration, high-frequency evaluations designed to monitor student progress and personalize learning. Conducted every two weeks using Pear Assessment, these quick assessments provide real-time insights into each student’s understanding. Teachers and our academic team use results to tailor instruction, ensuring students master concepts and excel in inquiry-driven tasks like Socratic discussions.
By fostering continuous feedback and growth, our assessments empower students to build confidence and critical thinking skills. And in addition to supporting a growth mindset, Pear Assessment tests are able to mimic the appearance of assessments required by law. By become more familiar with the look and feel of these "high stake tests" students gain confidence and are able to perform at higher levels.
