Academics
While Brabeion is "Idaho's 1st School of Sport", academics are critical to our mission.
Our education model is parent-centric believing that parents should be in the driver's seat of the children's education. In support of parents, our model develops students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. Our staff focus on student growth and everything we do must align with the question, "How will this improve student achievement?"

Critical thinking is one of Brabeion's Three Pillars and therefore central to our academic program. To help students become better critical thinkers, starting in 7th grade students are enrolled in a mandatory Rhetoric & Argumentation course. Younger students will also be taught fundamentals of problem solving and critical thinking integrated into their core subjects.
With daily practice in reasoning and problem solving, students will grow their ability to discern the difference between good arguments and bad arguments.
They'll put this into practice with regular in class debates and an end-of-the-year showcase where students and parents will go head-to-head on current event topics.
