Academics
While Brabeion is "Idaho's 1st Public School of Sport", academics are critical to our mission.
Our education model is parent-centric believing that parents should be in the driver's seat of the children's education. In support of parents, our model develops students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. Our staff focus on student growth and everything we do must align with the question, "How will this improve student achievement?"

Brabeion's cohort model organizes students into groups of up to 30 students. Each cohort has an assigned aide to provide additional support and individualized instruction. This results in a classroom student to teacher/aide ratio of 15:1.
For K-6 students, our cohort model also features a flexible schedule with alternating in-person instruction days. On "off-days" students may either attend school all or just part of the day under the supervision of their assigned cohort aide or work from home either synchronously (watching lessons live) or asynchronously (not live, but watch recorded lessons).
Junior high students (7-8) also use a cohort model, but in-person attendance is required everyday.
The strength of the cohort model is to give your student more individualized instruction and the opportunity spend more time mastering content or taking on more advanced work.
